About Us:
Derek Sheahan has worked in the machining industry for nearly 25 years. Derek began machining very early on as a recruit with the Woodward Govenor Company in Fort Collins CO in 1985. Derek graduated from Front Range Community College in 1989 with a 2 year certificate in General Machine Shop. After leaving Woodward in 1993, Derek went to work for Precision Machined Products Inc. where he apprenticed under Richard Bellows. Here he learned how to program and set-up complex aerospace components on 4-axis CNC mills. Derek was promoted to Shop Foreman in 1998 and was in charge of 12 CNC machining centers and up to 35 employees.
Anna Sheahan has spent 23 years in the equipment leasing industry. Her experience has helped to shape Platinum's business philosophy.
